Ryan Patterson Coliseum
COLISEUM'S heavy bass and blistering d-beat drumming creates the background over which Ryan Patterson wields his downtuned guitar to create a truly huge and frantic soundscape. COLISEUM is unlike anything in Louisville's vast history of punk, hardcore and indie rock - a fast, unyielding colossus of disaffected fury and steadfast punk rock devotion. Formed in 2003, they have adhered to a hectic tour and writing schedule. Their most current release, No Salvation (Relapse), cemented them as hardcore favs and winning them many new fans. Ryan uses the EMG81TW/89 combo which gives him the versatility and range that he requires being the only guitar player in the band.
